Radiation Side Effects
While we are excited about the radiation treatments and hopeful that they will help alleviate mom's pain, Mom is quite nervous because she is going to lose her hair.
She has changed her hair appointment this Saturday; she was going to get a perm - now she is going to get her hair cut quite short, in anticipation of the weeks to come.
Louise is going to help mom with what her options are with scarves and wigs. Celia and Nancy are going to make hats for her.
Mom cried today when she called to change her appointment - it was the first time that she had to say outloud that she was going to lose her hair.

Karen I thought you only loose hair with chemo treatments. Is she getting chemo in addition to the radiation?

Dad often talked about you Ruth Ann. Once, he recounted a conversation with you just before your sealing to Earl, to make a long story shorter, to re-assure Dad you truly loved Earl, you stated your belief in the eternities and that then our bodies are perfect / whole. What else matters? Like I said, that will never leave my heart...
