No news TODAY!

We won't be getting the news today. The pathologist wanted to do more slides before he makes a diagnosis. We will be getting results tomorrow over the phone by Dr. Backman - hopefully. The pathologist should be able to determine where the primary site is from the slides. I thought that he would only be able to tell us if the lung was the primary but he should be able to tell us if it is colon, breast....
Dr. Backman is also going to get Mom into a resident oncologist either tomorrow afternoon or Friday for an appointment so that we can begin to move forward.
Mom's head was really hurting this morning but she took some medicine and is doing better.
She thinks that mashed potatoes sound good for lunch -so we are off to get her some!
