Mom was called by Dr Backman tonight.
She has Lung Cancer, to be specific adenocarcinoma non small cell lung cancer.
It has already spread to the brain, hip bone, and spine.

We went to the storage unit this afternoon and stopped to get a shake at Sonic. Mom's head was really hurting by the time we were making our way home. Dr. Backman called us when we were about 2 blocks from home.
She should have an appointment with the lung oncologist on Tuesday of next week.
